Shows how new I am to this. It does indeed say a timer for the display
and not the phone. I now realise that, although the screen looks blank,
the phone itself is still active, and will let me know if I have a call
or text.
Hope I have that sorted. Thinking about it, my idea of the phone
shutting down was silly. Thanks for the info,
