It's a rather petty and childish smear campaign waged by you against Matt on the website, and carrying on in here. Implication is he doesn't belong here. I disagree, and do not feel a user group should be exclusive.

What right do you have to advertise your personal business on the LUG's website? And even when asked to remove it, refuse outright?

Can I advertise my businesses there? Can Gordon? Can any other lug member?

First of all, no one thanked me for it... all I ever got was "it's
broken", "fix it" and similar kinds of comments...

Clearly you don't like doing it and feel unappreciated. So pass it over to someone else. I don't care who, provided they play nicely with others.

Your actions seem to:Deleting others content on the website. Repeatedly re-editing to prove a point. Commercial exploitation of lug resources. Refusing to enter into discussions. Unhelpful, angry and rude contributions when you do talk. Pettiness and spite.

I had no beef with you personally, but what I've seen on this subject and the back and forth editing on the website paint a picture of someone I really don't think wants to be a part of this community if they can't be lord and master of it. Now quite a few of us have asked for what is a very simple and reasonable thing, to move the main channel from an unreliable network to one with good reliability that's known to every irc client - and you appear to have had a pretty substantial Toys/Pram ejection episode.

This fighting does nobody good and is probably embarrassing and distasteful to the majority. Currently it seems the only person at odds with the group's direction is yourself - so I ask you again, as have others, come on board and let's get over it and do something constructive.
