Yes, that that worked well, but became somewaht unstable in recent times, hence the move to using Freenode where the concensus was to use #DCGLUG seeing as we are the Devon and Cornwall GNU/Linux User Group.
While people want to join either place, I say let them make their own mind up... or are you all about forcing people in to one way of thinking ?
It's hard enough to get people to meet up physically in Devon & Cornwall due to the distances involved. Creating a 2nd channel just worsens the situation. We all need to work together!
