I'm still at a loss as to what they plan on doing with it. I've used plenty of different desktop environments and even more window managers (sans desktop environment)... I went on a rampage at one point trying as many different setups as possible... and other than max, min and close, the rest of the 'features' that were added seem to have been a bit gimmicky and not really *that* useful. Even the 'flip it over and write notes on it' aspect of the Java Desktop Environment turned out to be a bit of a non-enitity. I really can't see why they alienated so many people (grantedly I also find it a bit childish that people should feel alienated over such a small thing) over this. "We want to do something else with the right-side of the window in some future release": 1) Why not wait until then to change the sidedness of the buttons? 2) Why not put this 'extra' feature on the left of the window?
