I've had a couple of problems with Lucid:The apache webserver doesnt work as it did. I havent as yet got to the bottom of it but it stopped processing php and is offering it for download. I use netbeans and deleting and re-making projects starts those projects working again but I havent got non-netbeans php working again.
Firefox and NoScript - just clicking on the NoScript icon takes out the whole of the X11 session - I've removed NoScript and all seems to be fine.
The loudspeaker icon/volume control has gone missing so sound is a bit of a pain - you're deaf by the time you find the volume control through the menus...
Otherwise it seems to boot PDQ but takes longer to login (seems as pointless as MS quick login - it takes the same time to get to work...)
Must say I cant see any benefits yet.... Tom te tom te tom -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
