Meowski merely stated their opinion. They're allowed to do that, please don't get offended by it. We all have a right to state an opinion, and to improve things, the LUG site is certainly one of them. You could have asked for help, but yet I saw very few attempts, at my end. I may be incorrect. I have felt the site is embarrassing before, despite not living in Devon/Cornwall, but I don't think it's very aesthetically pleasing. I'm not a web designer though, so I would not be able to suggest any tips or advice. The subject is not elitist, without the subject being discussed, what can be done? Nothing? It *needs* to be broached, and that's perfectly fine. Your comment about 'people trying to do something or shut up' is unnecessary. With regards to people being given admin - maybe WordPress isn't the right solution? Perhaps another way to establish a web presence could be explored? You are welcome in the LUG however, I would not want to discourage you from here - at least in my personal perspective. -- Kind regards, -- dom rodriguez (shymega) -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG https://mailman.dcglug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
