While we're on this subject,
saynoto0870.com is a really good site to find an alternative number for any companies you ring that may have the 0844/0845/0870 numbers. Also look at the companies "abroad" number, because you can't call 08xx numbers from abroad they will often give you something like +441234567890 in which case you just replace the +44 with a 0 giving you 01234 567890 - a local number.
