The blogging features of drupal aren't that different to wordpress, although I'd agree WP is marginally easier. So I don't see the gain. Paul was using bits of the content management where drupal has rather more features than wordpress and so has scope to confuse himself. Typically people can create content but rearranging the site to include such new content isn't always delegated at the same time. Similar issues exist in wordpress (indeed you often have to change themes or shuffle widgets around in WP to achieve the same effects). As regards users not knowing their credentials - another system isn't going to help, I'd suggest a password manager. The problem I see is lack of writers, that said failure to maintain what little is there already has upset potential new members. So perhaps we should aim to do less better as far as the website is concerned. I personally prefer WP to drupal, but I don't think the problems we have are simply technical chalenge of using drupal. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
