Permissions problems with the package? > ln: failed to create symbolic link > `/home/psutton/.config/alien-arena/data1': Permission deniedwould suggest to me that you haven't got permission to the folder alien-arena in .config which can be found in your home directory, or maybe if the files exist you haven't got permissions to modify them.
Possibly the package is setting the permissions so only root has access?I'd suggest opening a terminal, cd'ing into .config/alien-arena and then doing
ls -la to get the owner and permissions of the files in there. Rob -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
