JackA .sh file is a script (like .bat or .cmd in Windows) and works just like a normal program. ie. to run it, just type it in on the command line (assuming you're in the directory where the script is located).
./myscript.shYou might need to set the permissions on the file to executable if they haven't been set already.
A .sh file can be opened in a text editor. I suggest you do so and read through what the script does in case it tries to do something you don't want it to.
