I used the USB-creator tool from the repos of Mint7. It worked for
Mint7, its how I installed to this laptop originally.
Only a 1GB stick so there wasnt a lot of room but i gave it a 256mb
persistance.
Just not sure if there'd be time for it to write about a problem when
it freezes dead like that. Maybe about the touchpad going dead, but
thats a minor irritation...
