It'll find stuff in ~/.mozilla, etc. (bookmarks and some plugins). Check
where FF is finding the plugins.
In about:config set "plugin.expose-full-path" to true, then look at
about:plugins to see what it find where.
You might need to create a link to the libjavaplugin.so in the correct
plugins directory.
