As promised I have visited the relevant people about holding meetings at Holsworthy Memorial Hall. There is a smaller room off the main one which is set up for computer training. Of course all of the computers are set up for Windows. The chap who runs it, Geoff Matthews, runs the room separately from the rest of the Hall. I have had a word with him and he sees no problem with our idea of having meetings there. There would probably be a small charge, but he can set this himself. Since he would probably like to attend any meetings himself the fee should not be high. There is a kitchen off the main Hall which we could use if there is nothing organised going on at the same time. The room is set up for wireless connection to the internet so that should be fine. We would probably not be able to use any direct connections. What I need now is some idea of who and how many would be likely to attend any meeting here. If enough interest is shown I will take it from there.
