FAQ: www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html Now don't get me wrong I love LILO but if you must use a 90s boot loader then you're going to get that 90s feel! ;) Problem is everybody is using GRUB nowadays and it's the recommended loader for Debian, so LILO probably don't get looked at as thoroughly as it should. Personally, I don't like my files in /etc being automagically updated but then maybe I don't update as often as I should???
