If anyone wants promotional stuff from LinuxExpo - from the .org village - let me know, off-list. The Debian stand always has lots of T-shirts and polo shirts, PC badges should be available, stuffed Tux toys of a variety of sizes too. 6inch, 10inch, possibly a few a bit bigger - I can't promise the ginormous 3 foot high Tux - there won't be room in the car!! Most of the stuff listed at CheepLinux will be available at their stand. http://www.cheeplinux.com (but then if it's listed there you can order that yourself online - you'll get it quicker - this way will save delivery costs but take longer.) I'm NOT promising that I'll be able to get exactly what you want, so don't be too specific, and if you can point to a website with a PICTURE of what you want, you stand a higher chance of me finding one! (And suggest what you'd like instead if I can't get the exact one you requested.) The event is 6-7th October. I can probably arrange something with Simon for those based in Exeter, or you can just wait for the next meeting. (There's an incentive!) Payment can be via PayPal or direct at the meeting. If there are particular non .org village stands or companies that you'd like some promos or leaflets, if you have (short) questions for particular stands . . . . www.linuxexpo.co.uk Floorplan with most non-village exhibitors listed: http://www.linuxexpo.co.uk/images/LinuxGround3Sept04.pdf The .org village will include Debian, FSF or AFFS, FFII, and numerous free software groups - usually KDE, Gnome, etc. If you have general needs, perhaps you're looking for a business to support a GNU/Linux venture of some kind, let me know (detailed), and I'll see if there's anyone who could help. This is an opportunity for queries outside the usual DCLUG topics, don't ask me how to fix problems - outside the .org village all the exhibitors will be commercial businesses who will expect a commercial return. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk/ http://www.dclug.org.uk/ http://www.isbn.org.uk/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/isbnsearch/ http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x8801094A28BCB3E3
