Floppyfw is a one floppy firewall, with all the fancy networking features you expect in GNU/Linux (well mostly just Linux in this case ;).
iptables, traffic shaping, bridging, NAT, and some bits thrown in for DNS and DHCP....
Don't expect any funky gui, and configuration is via mounting the floppy FAT image on another machine and editing the config file with $EDITOR (or ash shell allows dynamic changes).
However if you have an old machine you want to make a firewall, but don't want to waste a CD or hard disk this seems a good choice to me. Especially since these days everyone is bloating their "small" distros to fit flash cards and the like.
Might also be handy if we need a quick firewall at a DC(G)LUG event and people don't want to reconfigure an existing box. Or for teaching networking courses.
I fear in these days of cheap hardware it is a solution in search of a problem, but I always found configuration management of firewalls much easier when the config was written to a floppy. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Debian - http://enigmail.mozdev.org
