What about a forum, instead of a list?
A forum could be really good. Firstly, anyone could post on anything,
and a reduction in the amount of email would be a real blessing. It'd
also be the list archive as well, because all the posts would be
archived as they were when posted.
I think a removal of any edit function would be a good thing also, to
stop any changing of messages.
