Exim and Procmail.... Hmm I like Postfix, but I don't think the MTA will make much difference, it is the easy bit.
Ilohamail has some rough edges, so if you are afraid of hacking some PHP it might not be the program, but I really like it - easy to use, easy to set up, and just small enough so people like me can find the right bit to hack if it doesn't do quite what I want. It also has a lot of options buried in the config files, so worth reading them carefully. The author is really responsive to help requests, but maybe it needs a tad more testing before each release - buggy like using Microsoft software except you have the source and can get fixes.
150 users - /etc/passwd and a false shell as Kai says unless they have authentication details on another system!? If you want to script useradd, google as there are Perl snippets around to generate the encrypted passwords for you (with a suitably random salt etc) which is usually where it falls down. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Debian - http://enigmail.mozdev.org
