[LUG] Postfix - users on split sites

I want to persuade Postfix to sned mail for local users locally - easy enough, 
but to relay mail for some users who are not on this network to the ISP's 
SMTP relay host.

But I want the domain to be the same , which is the bit that I'm stuck on at 
present.

IE 
smith@xxxxxxxxxx mail stays here, on osborne.defoam.net or 
jupiter.defoam.net , whereas brown'defoam.net goes to Freesere or in a day or 
two Eclipse, thence to www.defoam.net on the internet, and gets grabbed from 
there.

Possible?
