Of course "FREE" in the sense of the FSF wouldn't mean free of charge but free to use on any printer and to be able to open the casing and examine the ink inside (and get it all over your clothes). Then Uncle Bill would vilify the paper manufacturers for not providing proprietary paper and insist that all sheets of paper should carry contractual clauses insisting that you don't really own the paper but only the right to make use of it; oh, and of course, Microsoft would insist on the contractual right to read everything you wrote on the paper, immediately followed by SCO insisting that they own the copyright to everything that has ever been or ever will be written in the world and that everyone should pay them for a licence to write anything down - at all. But I still receive junk mail.Join the Mail Preference Service - it cuts out spam from 'respectable' companies which does include all VISA and Access members. http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/ The only junk mail I've had since joining is: 1. The stuff that comes with the free advertising rag 2. 'Delivered by hand' 3. 'Addressee unknown' My daily mail has dropped from 6-8 to 1-2.Very useful info. I've joined a few moments ago. ThanksI'm considering creating an Open Source Software promotional flyer and sending them in the pre-paid envelopes. We could promote GNU/Linux for free!(If you find a free source of paper and inkjet cartridges, I'd love to know!)I guess I meant nearly free! You won't reach decision makers though, just the helpdesk bots.Might increase home desktop use perhaps.
