[LUG] Sligtly off topic - chat room and filters

Hi

 

I tried to access the chat room to day at Paignton library, I could connect to the room fine however after typing text and pressing enter nothing happened,

 

Torbay use DS safety net, and the clients i think run Win2k, so the site itself is not blocked. 

 

Can anyone offer any ideas as to why this is not working,  the address is

Are there similar problems in other environments, where filtering is used, e.g school, other libraries.

 

It works fine at home,.
