I got an email from a Shaw IP address apparently attempting to insert a trojan onto my PC by clicking on a hypertext link, I assume someone attempting to recruit machines for some purpose, if it were targeted why would they send a Windows executable, I mean I don't exactly hide the fact that I don't do Windows. The moral, if you run Outlook or Internet Explorer your security is already toast, so don't visit any strange websites, don't read mail from people you don't trust, don't trust email headers to tell you if a mail is from someone you trust..... I ran out of diskspace about 03am due to the excessive numbers of that Microsoft patch viruses, I think goes to prove you can't overestimate the gullibility of the average Windows user. Windows vulnerabilities are really starting to piss me off, and I only run it to port software. I think I'll withdraw supporting Cygwin as a port.
