My daughter brought in a Konica camera and I did that and was deeply impressed, then I looked at this very new Sony and decided it is a really nice gadget. However if it doesn't talk to my network in some way I may have to take it back and have soemthing cheaper and with a worse lens - which is the real excuse for choosing it. It doesn't seem to talk USB-storage, but the PTP (picture transfer protocol) looked entirely usable, until the second day. Maybe I'll reboot the laptop and see what happens, but I can't be doing that every week. -- From the Linux sofa or garden swing of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
