I thought you just have to agree where to meet with IRC?! freenode seems the obvious network, #dclug the obvious channel, but I don't know much about IRC so I hope someone will turn up and explain things to me. So I'll sit on #dclug, port 6667, irc.freenode.net and see what happens. I think the archive on CD isn't worth the effort. I doubt we'll ever have a meeting without an Internet connection, unless we go caving ot something, none of the ones I've been to have had less than 14.4Kbps Internet connection to my knowledge, even if a third of the bandwidth was given over to error correction. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE+cboAGFXfHI9FVgYRAnjtAJ9BvEDNqgS29SfZcs7gENoNCYs+cACgglWg l3wgTPooK62XCoXcKzU2iS4= =fmh/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
