Thanks Adrian! I did have a leak on that side of the front of the house - it lasted about 4 weeks, only involved small amounts of water from the shower for up to 5 minutes at a time and was fixed last summer. The problems have been ongoing for some time but have become increasingly noticeable over the winter. Could water leakage cause a permanent problem that could get worse over time or should the cure for the leak have cured the noise? - -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk http://www.dclug.org.uk http://www.wewantbroadband.co.uk/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+QWyRiAEJSii8s+MRAoFkAKDo6hHkqYSBXFErTFbPvbCpBbGoIwCg6BFJ RrDaB285dSxM2my2GnSgy0Y= =c1Sz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
