Take a look at the review of Mandrake on a laptop - my own laptop (this one) runs SiS. Is this a TFT panel or a CRT monitor?
Now there are things I can do with a box with no X on it, but that isn't atually the box I'd want to do them on.
Which distro? Mandrake9 has created a working X install on SiS OK, as did RedHat 7.2 - -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk http://www.dclug.org.uk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+DgbJk7DVr6iX/QIRAm6AAJ9qrPVn/094iNF5EH40s3ZoqFmBEwCfZy2P Of/zQCrM+MM33dULYqi+HgI= =iyI9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
