It's all well and good, Banging on about, Syntax  - Compiling Beta's and 
generally hissing and spitting command line arguments out. But many of 
the newer users of Linux are, have and will be coming from a Windows 
background. It is important to encourage them gently to look for 
themselves and to try to figure things out and ask further questions.. 
Installing packages makes things much simpler, using a graphical package 
manager lends itself far easier to an MS migrant then saying "Wake Up 
and see the light you need to scouer sourceforge get a tarball... Tar 
xvzf..../.conf... ./mak" and Blah Blah. Most people with will just say 
"Oh F~** It where's that Windows XP Disc.
