Okay, you got me with this one...a quick check of the archives and I found this: Log in as root and edit the following file: /etc/pam.d/kppp [/etc/pam.d/kppp] #%PAM-1.0 auth sufficient /lib/security/pam_rootok.so auth required /lib/security/pam_stack.so service=system-auth session optional /lib/security/pam_xauth.so account required /lib/security/pam_permit.so On the first line change /lib/security/pam_rootok.so to /lib/security/pam_permit.so This will allow any user logged into the machine to use the dialer.
