David, You may want to check out a distro called "Lunix" (Little-Unix). I think it was written to run on the Commodore 64 and can handle up to 32 simulataneous processes! Alternatively, you can use linux on the Playstation 2! I wonder if someone could port it to my old SNES? Could be a cheap alternative to the set-top web browsing boxes that the masses are buying.
