Yo, I might be able to do that, I have a web server that does all of the things you mention, and I don't see any problem giving you user-level SSH access. It's reasonably reliable, it's been down a bit recently due to hardware malfunction (corrupted disk), but they've now replaced most of the components, it seems (!), so it ought to be fine from now on. My dad's just bought a server lease too, so we can always use that as a backup server. It's not regularly/automatically backed up at the moment, although I'm hoping to get something running between the two servers. Were you hoping to get this hosting for free? Maybe we could do a swap; you help me to set up an rsync/mon-based backup system in return for free hosting? :-) Cheers, Jon -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/FpxZeTVvFHAhe5cRAmejAJ9YWO38hPegaVodhhnbweym6a9qswCfSwzB 0WwrYlUTSlODdcuPLT4azMc= =IH0U -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
