-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Yo, does anyone have a permanently connected server that handles SMTP, they can let me have a free shell account on for a specific task? I need; procmail, perl, a handful of mail aliases created, a few megs of disk space, reasonable reliability, routine backup would also be nice (weekly or monthly more than adequate). It's very low volume, but the addresses will handle spam, so may drop a few reply messages into the mail queue in response to spam that eventually bounce. Needs to be reasonably managed/maintained as we don't want to lose it (unexpectedly?) for long periods. Requirement arises is because I need to switch this stuff off my Demon account to make it easier to change my Internet connection around, may need to let a.n.other person have access to the account in future since it is a role I'm just wearing the hat for at the moment. The Perl scripts have run more or less unchanged here for a couple of years without security incident, so I assume they are reasonably secure, your paranoia may vary. Also have some mailing lists for local club, which I was thinking of switching to Yahoo Groups - currenty Majordomo - which I want to lose as well. Anyone think Yahoo groups is a bad idea, and have good alternative in mind? Simon, planning on losing his 7x24 Internet access - eek. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/FO0qGFXfHI9FVgYRAjGaAJ4i+Yo5z4oQ91gXG5VqM+4KEfS+tgCfUg9B Y69azGdbFm3+m5mtlNSh8IU= =IZ8T -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
