Re: Opera and Web Browsers was Re: [LUG] C++ book
Speaking of graphics cards and X....
I'm running redhat 6.2 on a new machine i built - with a diamond
speedstar A55 8mb agp card. basically, it took me ages to configure x
3.3.6 to use it properly - without defaulting to bog-standard svga
driver with abysmal performance. I had to lie to it about what S3 chip
it was etc...
Just wondering if anyone knows how well X 4.0 or higher supports it?
and will upgrading to a 2.4 kernel (with agp support) help?
