Sounds an alien concept to me - just as you run NT on NTFS, you run
Linux on a Linux filesystem.
Anyway I expect to repartition for Linux day and run the various
distro's we'll have to hand from sponsors.

I've never quite understood how people get to have so many partition
problems.
I stick win98/95, w2k and Linux onto PC's in any old order and the only
problem I ever had was what tool to shrink FAT32 partitions with, which
'parted' solves simply.
I've never had to reinstall an OS due to partition problems - I've had
to reinstall Win95 for many reasons but never a partition problem.
