What is the DCGLug mailing list?
The DCGLug mailing list is the discussion and announcement list for members of the Devon & Cornwall GNUi/Linux User Group.
How do I subscribe?
Use the mailman web interface
- Mailing list subscription confirmation: This is used to confirm that you have entered a valid email address. You will need to click on the link in this email to finalise your Subscription.
How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe yourself at the mailman web interface, filling in the box at the bottom of the page and following the instructions. Your Members Area username and password will remain active (unless you ask the webmaster@dcglug.org.uk to delete them).
How do I re-subscribe?
You can re-subscribe yourself at the mailman web interface, and completing the “Subscribing to list” section. You will need to click the link in the to the confirmation email from mailman to complete the process.
What do I do if unsubscription didn’t work?
If automatic unsubscription doesn’t work, send a mail to list-owner@dcglug.org.uk with appropriate details.
My e-mail address has changed – what do I do?
Follow the procedures for unsubscribing and re-subscribing. If you encounter a problem, contact list-owner@dcglug.org.uk for help. Your old address will be unsubscribed and you will receive a confirmation email to the new address. Click on the link in the email to complete the process.
How do I post to the list?
To post to the DCGLUG mailing list, send a mail to list@dcglug.org.uk.

Mailman is the list server software we run.
Blog vs list
This page is for the mailing / discussion list subscription information. Not to be confused with the website blog which you can subscribe to in the side bar, this will get the site to send you an e-mail when a new post is added. The mailing list is for discussion.
