HiSounds good to me, and yeah would be good to be more active and hopefully attract more people, current meetings are
1st Sat - none 2nd Sat- none 3rd Sat - Jitsi - Eion attends this as it is virtual4th Sat- Plymouth - We also have Tinkerers at Paignton Library on the 4th Sat 11- 13:00
I am hoping to get code club back up, that will probably be on the 1st Saturday
As mentioned the IT room is currently being refurbished, it may be more like a meeting room than a traditional IT room with rows of computers, which makes it more flexible, but should still have power sockets, wifi etc.
Perhaps I can propose the following We Keep Plymouth As is, maybe we can help promote moreIf the Virtual meets are still popular we keep them, but we could perhaps alternate them to every other month the meet at the library every other month, as I don't really expect people to commit every month, we could fire up a Jitsi session at the physical meet up and have people attend remotely too
21st September 3rd Saturday is software Freedom day, I have a stack of related stickers and other promo stuff here, so we could meet up and people can pick up to perhaps distribute.
We could do something for that, perhapsIf not and code club does fall on the 1st Sat then again perhaps have a lug meet, every other month at the Library on the 2nd Saturday.

PaulFor my part, I would love to see the LUG becoming as active as it once was. I would likely be able to make a Paignton meeting every so often, but it would not be as regular as I'd like.I think it would be worthwhile stepping up our engagement in other arenas too. What's that age old expression? Something like "you're less likely to increase your congregation by staying in the church".So yes, let's get the DCGLUG buzzing again. Grant :)
