Dear all,
I would second Eion's suggestion of using both Wi-Fi and Ethernet. It
might be frowned upon in really highly-available datacentre type
operations, but it's more than adequate in home network situations. This
is assuming that both actually have access to the internet though; Linux
network software can get really confused if there is a connection that
doesn't have access to the internet for whatever reason.
