My wife uses thunderbird for her emails. She seems to have lost any
trace of an email she sent recently. It is not showing in the sent

Any suggestions please? Before I get into trouble for messing up her
system,
Sorry ignore my email as you have a trash folder

I have two laptops. They both have Thunderbird installed, automatically
during the original installation. They both have a deleted folder set
up. When I highlight an email and press Del, that email moves over to
the deleted folder, automatically. That is the way it has always worked.
I do not have any folders marked as trash.
My wife's laptop also had thunderbird automatically installed at the
original installation. She does not have any folder marked as deleted,
but does have one marked as trash.
I am guessing that, for her, trash is the equivalent of deleted. I guess
I am looking for a problem where there isn't one.
