Is there any advantage using the desktop app rather than just using the web app?
The desktop app is not just a pig for disk space, it seems to eat processor and memory resources as well. On top of the 190mb download, it uses a lot of disk space to cache the music you've played. Not that bad if you only ever listen to 3 songs, but if you
like to explore new music it seems to add up to a lot of disk space very quickly.
You can delete cached music locally, but it does seem like windowsization of linux having all that bloat clogging up your system unnecessarily. From: list <list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx> on behalf of Tom via list <list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
