I'm on the xubuntu on a freshish install and running a couple of Java
programs via:
openjdk 10.0.2 2018-07-17
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 10.0.2+13-Ubuntu-1ubuntu0.18.04.4)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0.2+13-Ubuntu-1ubuntu0.18.04.4, mixed
mode)
using the left button on the mouse clicked the menu (or other item) one
up from the one I wanted. Since on one program the one I wanted was the
bottom one and unreachable I have installed:
java version "1.8.0_191"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 8.0.5.25 -
pxa6480sr5fp25-20181030_01(SR5 FP25))
IBM J9 VM (build 2.9, JRE 1.8.0 Linux amd64-64-Bit Compressed References
20181029_400846 (JIT enabled, AOT enabled)
OpenJ9 - c5c78da
OMR - 3d5ac33
IBM - 8c1bdc2)
JCL - 20181022_01 based on Oracle jdk8u191-b26
from the standard repositories and all is now well
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem
