Hi Rich, you need to login as a non root user then sudo or su - /bin/bashÂ
root logins are normally rejected in the default sshd config as a security precaution.Â
also the user you log in with ie rich@host will need an appropriate entery in sudo.confÂ
if in doublt use an overly permissive setting at set up eg rich all=(all) .... check man page for exact config.Â
you normally do this setup from a local treminal first.Â
