I've been having problems getting the middle mouse button to work making things like Blender a pain in the arse to use. It is reported as a bug on Ubuntu but someone noticed that most of the complaints seem to relate to Logitech mice. I was wondering if I could ask you all to test you mice (should they have middle buttons or rollers that click on pressing) and get back to me with the results and mouse type? If you try the following you can click in a little window that pops up and see if the buttons launch a message:
xev -event mouse| grep Button --before-context=1 --after-context=2 TIA Tom te tom te tom |
