Hmm, I really don't get on with IRC very well but you make a fair
point... The Gentoo community used to be infamously hostile/unfriendly
back in the day, any idea if that's still the case? I think a lot of the
worst offenders jumped ship to Arch a while back.
Think I might have to try that as an absolute last resort - I've never
had an issue that I couldn't fix myself by reading through the forums
before.
