dirtypcbs are fantastic, have had a few batches of boards done with them now. If you need batches of 500 or more there are local companies that start to be competitive (Eurotech in Exmouth).

weeks, places like dirtypcb will do you 10 off 100x100 mm for USD$25
so Â18 ish, but thats professionally etched and drilled with all the
holes in all the right places.

 I was wondering about getting all 'RaspberryPi' and using Geda etc (on the Pi) to bootstrap up a few kids so I was hoping to do it all but the going UV seems to get to silly money when you have the likes of dirtypcb...
