It is so long since I installed a version of Xubuntu that I had
forgotten about zeitgeist. If I remember, last time I just removed it
from the automatic start up list.
Having looked at what it does it appears to be something that I do not
want. It seems that it is needed in Unity and others but not in Xfce. Is
that correct? And would it be safe to purge it?
