I second Simon's words. I would reach for Wordpress in this situation, and be very picky about what user plugins were chosen.Â

I believe Dans and Gordon both do some hosting. If not, I recommend Portfast too if they have the budget.Â

Vulnerabilities in core Wordpress are rare and have mostly been XSS. The problem is plugins, which they review manually but have minimal automated testing.
