Not in my experience Keith. As I mentioned in my post, I always use the close button, and if more than one tab is open I get a warning dialogue asking if I want to 'Quit', 'Cancel', or 'Save (all tabs) and Cancel'. i assume the dialogue box automates both functions you describe, ie closes all window instances and then kills the browser. On 17/09/15 20:19, Brad Rogers wrote:On Thu, 17 Sep 2015 20:06:44 +0100 Tom <madtom1999@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Hello Tom,Turns out you are not to use the close button like every other program ever uses but go to the file menu and quit - or set an option in about:config. Seems to be a real bug when more than one tab open!Using the close button worked fine here in v40somethingorother. Why the past tense? Because I use Pale Moon now, not Ff.It's not applicable here but it's as well to remember that the close button and File>Quit don't the same function. The. close button closes a window instance whereas File>Quit kills the browser. Do File>New Window and all is revealed. Killing the browser with close button is a unique occasion when only one window is open.
