I already use a Logitech wifi mouse so it would perhaps to logical to get aLogitech keyboard, but I am open to ideas. ( I hate the touch-pad, andhave never used it.) I am assuming then it would just work. Does anyone on the list have any experience of this please and any advice? I would be interested to hear what members think.
Depending on the Logitech mouse you might be able to get a Logitech wireless keyboard that uses the same receiver. They're called Unifying Receivers (http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/promotions/6072).
Saying that, I have a Logitech USB mouse (m185 I think) which has a nano receiver but it doesn't look like it's a Unifying one so perhaps they are only the more expensive models in the range.
Incidentally, I am typing this using my old keyboard from the desktop, which has a USB fitting. This does use up a USB port so would not be anideal permanent solution. Thanks Neil
If your Logitech receiver isn't unifying you might be able to use a Bluetooth keyboard if your laptop has Bluetooth.
Other than that, a wireless keyboard and mouse combo aren't that expensive these days (I picked up a fairly decent Microsoft set for about Â25 from PC World a couple of years ago)... or if you're worried about using too many USB ports simply get a USB hub and plug everything into that :-)
