OK, a little late to the thread... I swear by KeePass (version2) - it's cross platform (my work's laptop is Windows) - and there are ports to Android as well as lesser OS, such as iOS ;) It has plugins to generate passphrases like "correct horse battery staple" [1] and can do auto-type for websites, with customisation for specific sites which aren't the "normal" <username><tab><password><enter> combination The auto-type works on whatever window was last to have in focus, so I also use it for other apps, such as VNC, etc The databases can also be protected by using keyfiles, therefore providing two-factor authentication (i.e. you need a password, and perhaps a USB memory stick with your photo on...) I think we had a thread recently re password management. I have tried a few, the latest being LastPass. None of them work well and browsers crash etc. Has anybody got a good suggestion please? Thanks.
