Despite following Michael's advice about wiping cache (I've even just done a full factory wipe) I now have a Nexus 10 pretty much randomly alternating between a hung Cyanogenmod boot screen and the Ubuntu installer, depending on which combination of fastboot/recovery/hard reset I use. I'm pretty sure that this isn't normal. I'm now pissed off to the point where I'm taking my own advice (from a discussion with Neil on this list regarding buying important family members gadgets), and will buy my parents an Apple iPad Air tomorrow. This miserable Nexus will join my pile of stupid crap that I can't be bothered properly experimenting with. Life is too short. It''ll get a stock Android reflash tomorrow from a windows box tomorrow and then I won't use it at all because I hate Google's aggressive walled garden. Tablets suck, who knew?
