Beginning to think its time I got one working properly - any usesrs out ther? Tom te tom te tomI think what the developers were saying was that they have no control over what is on each individual server, as its de-centralised (which is the whole point) One way to counter this is to highlight how diaspora is being used for GOOD things, free software projects, maybe some sort of humanitarian project, so shift the focus away. The same goes for file sharing sites, sure people share copyrighted material BUT you can equally share things like ios files for Linux distributions or other free content. So if anyone is using things like this for positive purposes lets all share this, any post made to the dcgug blog gets auto shared on the twitter page @dcglug The press will pick up on anything that is negative , so it is up to the community to spread positive stories.
